It would be nice if you could empty trash the trash from the desktop menu (not the right/middle click context menu the one at the top of the screen).

If you're going to copy an interface at least take some of the best things from it :)  You already have Logout and Lock Screen - why not the trash as well?

is it possible to point me out where in the source code the macos bar is ?

btw: i thinks there are some duplicates of this bug....

In the "Style" module (or "kcmshell style" from the command line)

In CVS, there exists code to make the MacOS menubar embedded into a child panel. Please 
see bug 52942 for details. You can then add anything you wish to that child panel as well.

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
