Version: 1.0-beta8 (using KDE 3.3.2, (3.1)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-6) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-1-686 Some feeds generate lots of new messages, it would be nice to have an option to ignore them in the system tray's new message count.
We already added an option (in KDE PIM 3.4 beta2/upcoming Beta10) to mark new articles as read immediately after downloading them. Does that match your wish? (It's not exactly what you requested, but has the same effect).

I've used the 'mark messages as read' option for a while now, but I would prefer to be able to leave them marked as unread while not showing up in the system tray's count. I'd like to use this count for feeds I really want to follow and not for the feeds I read from time to time (while still being able to see which articles are new).
