Version: 0.11.18 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2) Installed from: RedHat RPMs OS: Linux I have an Toshiba A70, (Toshiba SD-2512 CDWR) running FC3 with all latest updates. On trying to copy an audio CD, the program first fails to recognize the audio cd in the drive. Choosing 'Force' over comes this and the program read all tracks. Then it asks for a blank CD to be inserted. However, it doesnt allow the original CD to be ejected ! The "eject' option does nothing at this point. This seems like a serious logic flaw. Only after exiting K3B will the CD eject...killing the copying process. Otherwise, a nice piece of software... Cheers Gertjan
probably your kernel is buggy. is it a 2.6.8 kernel?
Hello, I hava a Toshiba satellite A10-S1001, with Fedora Core 4 and K3b version 0.11.23 (using Kde 3.4.0-6 Red Hat), with exactly the same problem. It seems to be that when I'll try to do more than one copy the software doesn't work very well I'll try to give an update, but the system stay hold and hold and hold...... Hope can help us Sincerly Martha
Same problem here. But not only with any CD I try to copy, not only Audio. After the original is copied K3b doesn't eject the original it looks like it immidiately detects the orogonal full CD and doesn't allow to eject it to replace it with the blank CD. Eject button doesn't work (the one in K3b dialog or the one on CDR drive). I have K3b 0.12.4a, Linux Kernel 2.6.13.2, hal 0.5.4, KDE 3.4.3.
possibly the same cause as bug # 96155
