Version: (using KDE Devel) In the webarchiver the resulting war will probably contain hrefs which don't start with http:// resulting in broken links because the browser will put the current path in front of it, resulting in links like: tar:/home/foo/bar.war/otherpage.html which will result in a dead link. Please use the same logic wget uses to rewrite the hrefs in the archived page to link to the external pages instead.
I am not sure if WA translate all links. So to simply put -- keep local references to archived objects, the rest should be kept as fully qualified external links. Otherwise when the user loads war file page looks "out of context" because a lot of stuff is missing. Related (a bit) report: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=165407
