Version:           1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.0, SuSE)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809)
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.8-24.11-default

Well, it seem that KMail and KNote share the setting for spell checking. 

Now most mews I write in Engish and most mails in German. Whenever I change the spell checker language a dialog pop up telling me that the "dialog" needs to restart. As soon as I click "OK" the application crashes. 

Well KMail at least saves the mail before chrashing - so I "only" have to restart the programm

This problem STILL exists in Version 1.8. It is NOT SOLVED!
