Description Hermann Zheboldov 2005-02-11 12:20:46 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.92)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I use KDE 3.4 Beta2 under SuSE 9.2. I haven't any problems with 3.3.2 version but after upgrade to 3.4 Beta 2 I found the following problem. By default my runlevel was 5 with kdm. During boot time all was fine before kdm starting. At this moment my keyboard became non-functional so I cannot insert no login name, no passord. When I tried to restart X Server using mouse after the first attempt nothing changed, after the second attempt system switched my in console mode. I made init 3, then init 5 and after that my keyboard started to work under X again. After that I changed my runlevel to 5 with text console and try to start X using startx from command line - problem with keyboard disappeared!
