Version: 1.3.2 (using KDE 3.3.2-1.6.2.kde, Fedora Core release 2 (Tettnang)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-1.9_FC2 If KDE has sub-pixel hinting turned on, the pictures exported from Umbrello keep the hinting. This is not really desirable, since the effects only look good on TFT monitors. I think it can be assumed that a lot of exporting is to but images on the web or print, where extra colours around the letters look odd. I think 'normal' anti-aliasing should be used instead.
So it does. This is a Qt issue, need to investigate if they have a way of turning off sub-pixel hinting for exporting as an image.
The bug is still reproducible on current trunk.
