Description Jan Knutar 2005-02-05 14:57:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs

For some reason kmail today decided to open up about 200 composer windows when I only asked for one, that's not something I can really make a bug report on though, but, the real problem started when I tried to start kmail again (ended up hitting swap hard). It tried to resume all of those few hundred. I eventually removed ~/dead.letter (after browsing the source to find out where it was getting all those composer windows from).

The feature wish:
Index dead.letter and ask the user for confirmation, whether the user indeed wants to resume all five hundred composers all at once.

State saving of kmail has improved since. 200 composer windows should only open up if you really had 200 composer windows open before the crash - I see no need for a question here.
