Description Achim Bohnet 2005-02-03 00:41:42 UTC
Version: 0.7.2-cvs (using KDE 3.3.2, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-1-686

home and end are already use for this purpose in the
thunbmail window. Adding same feature to imageeditor
makes keyboard navigation easier.

Gwenview uses end/home this way already.

Thx,
Achim

shortcuts are configurable now. modify at will
Comment 2 Achim Bohnet 2005-02-03 22:32:16 UTC
Hi Renchi,
the icons are there because there are the most frequently
used operations. Not having for those 'important' actions
a _default_ shortcut is a pity (ditto ctrl-+ ctrl-- for
zoom in/out btw. as mentioned on digikam-user recently)

Having them by default is IMHO especially
one is 'used' to those from other apps.
My request is more for 'consistency' between kde apps.

there are already default shortcuts for these actions:
Ctrl+Home, Ctrl+End : goto first image, goto last image
Ctrl++, Ctrl+-: zoom in, zoom out

these are _standard_ kde shortcuts. And then you have the flexibility of modifying them if you don't like it
