Description Paul Hewlett 2005-02-02 10:01:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.3.4
OS: Linux

The jargon file at http://catb.org/~esr/jargon/html is not displayed correctly. The online-preface.html web page explains that the jargon file uses a no. of greek characters and if these are not displayed correctly then the browser is not standards compliant. Konqueror displays these characters as garbage - Firefox, for example, does display them correctly. Ergo konqueror is not standards compliant albeit for this one case.
