I configured KDE to use Firefox as default browser component. 

The problem is that Konqueror is too fanatic when it comes to using the default browser component. Whenever I *do* use Konqueror, it launches Firefox whenever it needs to load a website. For instance, when I fire up Konqueror and enter a search query on Google (my default website), Konqueror opens Firefox to display the search results.

I think it would be better if KDE would *only* load Firefox when a non-browser KDE application (KMail, Kopete) wants to display a website.
