Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.91) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.4.3 20050110 OS: Linux I use kasbar vertically in bottom left of screen. I choose length 1% and expand as needed. I've always configured my kde's as it and found it very nice. But since i've tried kde 3.4 beta1, there's seem to be a bug ( see http://gabuzomeu.ath.cx/trucs/kasbar.png snapshot). Bottom part of kasbar is white, just no icons displayed. If i enable/disable floating in right click button menu, that's turn back ok.
I've the same configuration, with kasbar in the lower left corner, and the first Icon above the mainpanel is always half visible. The lower part of the icon is transparent.
The image is not working. But perhaps this is the same as bug 101598.
I too dock mine in the lower left corner. I upgraded to (installed from scratch, actually) the newest version of Mandriva (the club version w/KDE 3.4) this past weekend and am now seeing the same bug. The biggest irritation for me is not that the bottom icon is partially cut off, but that the bottom hide button is completely missing, despite being enabled. If I enable the top hide button, I can see that one fine. But, you then have to go edit configs to get it back, because the down/unhide button is not drawn. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the fact that I'm running a dual head setup, but I thought I'd throw that out there too.
Kasbar is no more developed and it will not be ported on KDE4. Kasbar bugs are being closed as "UNMANTAINED". For specific kasbar feature which doesn't exists in the new KDE4 please open a new wish for KDE4. :-) Many thanks.
