Description S. Burmeister 2005-01-18 11:19:20 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.91)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

When using the akregator plugin in kontact it opens an kio_http process for every feed. These processes remain active, although not needed and hence consume memory. I was told that akregator cannot do anything about it, as khtml handels its slaves.
Processes should be terminated when they have finished their job, or at least their number should be reduced to one.

They exit after a timeout.
