Description Sean Lynch 2005-01-18 00:33:35 UTC
Version: 3.3.91 (using KDE 3.3.91 (beta1), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-ck3

When you right click on a file which can be 'Shared' via NFS/SMB, the Share option is the last item listed, with properties being the second to last. Most people are used to the last item always being properties, if available.

I think share would be most fitting as the second to last item, with properties as always the last.

I would like to confirm that this "wrong" behavior still exists in 3.5.1. (see attached screenshot)

"Share" menu option appears as a result of enabling "Enable local network file sharing" in COntrol Center > Internet and Network > File Sharing

"Sharing" looks really out of place there.

Imho, it is better
- moved to "Actions" sub-menu, or,
- Even better be removed completely, sine there is a tab for it in the "Properties" dialog.

Reported for obsolete KDE version.
"Share" is now part of the "Properties" dialogue, there is no separate menu entry.
Please reopen if the problem is still seen.
