Version: 1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.0, SuSE) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-24.10-default When sending an email and selecting one of the folders to store a copy of the outgoing email to, that copy is always shown right at the top of the msg list, although the msg list is sorted by what kmail calls "order of arrival" and newest mails are at the bottom. To find a sent msg again one has to cycle through the date sort options to fix up the display.
Please update your kde version and try again.
> Please update your kde version and try again. SuSE 9.2 with all updates installed is about as current as it gets with reasonable effort, so it'll have to wait until 9.3.
There are 3.3.2 packages for suse 9.2, did you install them? The report says you have 3.3.0.

I'm not > sure how much trouble I'll get by installing non-suse packages? There are SuSE packages for KDE 3.3.2 and you can even install them via Yast. There is one little bug in the current builds though. You will have to execute kdeinit knotify at the beginning of each session in order to get mail-notification. This bug is connected to a arts package. Anyway, if you want to install KDE 3.3.2 via yast, do the following: Get a SuSE mirror that is quick enough for your taste. Get to the directory that mirrors: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.2/yast-source Open Yast > Software > Add installtion source > add > ftp Enter the server: e.g. ftp.suse.com, you should pick a mirror as the SuSE-server is quite slow due to them releasing the 9.1 DVD. Enter the directory, e.g. pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.2/yast-source Yast will add the installtion source, move it above the source pointing to the CD/DVD and quit the installation source module. Now open The install software module. Chose Packagegroups from the drop-down at the top-left, pick zzz-all packages from the list below it. Go into the package menu at the top-left (above the drop-down list) and chose all packages in list > refresh if newer version available. Click Accept and wait while Yast d/l and installs KDE 3.3.2. If Yast cannot find the installation source and/or some packages, retry, as this is due to the ftp-server having too many people on it and will go away if you retry some times. Hope this helps!
As this is a rather outdated case and the previous comments seem to suggest it's already solved, feel free to reopen if it still occurs with the current KDE version 4.3
