Description Jaakko Holster 2005-01-09 20:54:59 UTC
Version: 3.3.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-3)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-1-686

Konqueror crashes or is killed by kernel due to huge memory consumption when uploading 65 MB zip file via following form. On my laptop with 128 MB ram the upload process causes heavy swapping for two minutes until the application is finally killed.

I cannot test this, because the pages are in a language I do not understand.

Can you reproduce and attach a backtrace ?

kuvapalveluun -> uusi kuvatilaus -> seuraava vaihe.
Konqueror starts heavy swapping when adding one 80MB zip-file to upload field and pressing 'lataa kuvat palvelimelle' I've enough memory so OOM-killer won't kill konqueror. After swapping konqueror asks: are you really sure that you want to upload this file, so it may be so that konqueror will read the file to memory before uploading starts?
