Description cobaco 2005-01-07 20:20:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Everybody who has been using e-mail on lists long enough knows there are certain conventions that are used to signify simple formatting in plain text mail (as we all know that html-mail is evil).

Most notably these are *bold* /italic/ _underlined_.

I'd like to have the option to the composer automatically mark up the text this way when clicking a bold/italic/underlined button. Same thing for bullets.

As a second step I'd like the option to also see that *bold* as bold, etc. (also on receiving naturally).

Having this option would eliminate pretty much all html-mail i still get from friends and family.

First step is still valid

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
