Version: (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources OS: Linux KTrader offers a great service allowing applications to open or embed them. However, it'd be great if one could directly print a file without a need to open another program, that is just calling the "print" function of the application. That'd be useful for an application that manages documents, for example, or allows attachments with the data it treats. One shouldn't need to open the application first and then click the print button. Another possibility might be that instead of offering a direct print function, the application simply offered to export to Postscript (maybe by printing to a PS printer), allowing the application that uses KTrader, append that PS to another document. I've found this capability very interesting in windows and used for some nice applications.
This is up to individual apps. Okular for example offers this feature.
