Description Damir Perisa 2004-12-20 05:03:59 UTC
Version: 1.7.2 (using KDE 3.3.2, Arch Linux)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-ARCH

the "Status" filter in kmail is an excellent feature and very helpfull searching in dirs with thousands of emails ...

... however, one status is missing: there is no "not replied" status you can choose. of course, i understand, that this is not a status, you can set emails explicitely to, but it is a known information to kmail and theoretically you can filter for it (it's the same like filtering for "replied" but taking the other results)

any way to implement this would make kmail more productive to use, as it is very often the case, that you are replying things in a folder that should have all emails replied and then you want only the emails to appear in the list, that need an answer

In the meantime, there's the Todo status. This status disappears as soon as you've replied to the mail. I think that's what you're looking for.

Can it be some kind of checkbox "Inverse search" to search not replied, not with attachments, not forwarded, not ToDo and so on?

In kmail KDE 4.3 you have the choice on the status check of
"is" or "is not" and the status can be selected to check for "replied".
So "is not" "replied" is now possible.
