Version: 1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, (3.1)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-3) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8.1 Hi, similar to the options to mark eMails as spam, sam, read, new and so on, I would also like to have the possibility mark mails as "sent". As I always send a BCC to myself to have all the messages of one thread together in the same folder, I want these messages to be automatically marked as "sent" as I receive them. Till now I always mark them as "sent" by hand, but this is kind of annoying. Yes, I know, that there is the option to save answers to mails in the same folder as the mail, but this does not exactly fit my wishes, since I like to have my sent mails as well in the "sent" folder as in the thread they are belonging to. Regards, Daniel.
I don't know the mark "send". A send mail is in the send folder for me. Can you explain me what you are thinking of?
As I switched to another mail client some time ago I don't know if this whish is still valid for KMail4. In KMail 3.x the mails sent through KMail had a different mail icon (I think it was an envelope with a left-to-right arrow). As I don't only used KMail but also webmail clients for mailing, I often sent mail and BCCed this mail to me, to have it in my local mail client as well. What I was thinking of, was to mark this mail that was sent by me but not through KMail with the same mail icon as mail actually sent through KMail.
Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding.
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
