Description John Cox 2004-12-14 05:11:33 UTC
Version: 3.1.2 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux

When I start kdevelop in childframe mode, the documentation frame consumes the rightmost 2/3 of the window and the Messages/etc tabs consume the bottom-most 2/3 of the window. This leaves only a nominal amount of space for text to be edited.

I can move these fields around to make the requisite space, but the positions are not saved. This is extremely annoying.

The problem is in 3.1.2, and has been in versions of kdevelop since at least 3.1.
