Version: 0.9.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, (3.1)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-2) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-1-k7 As far as I understand for sending files, as we implement only the old MSN protocol and libgaim the new protocol, it is normal that I cannot send files to libgaim-based clients. However, I should be able to receive files from libgaim-based clients, as if I understand correctly, Kopete has already implemented the new protocol for file reception. But on my side even if I can accept the file transfer, it never progress and the file never gets stored on my hard drive, although on the sender side, their client report that the transfer was successful.
That *should* work, as the protocol is the same. But maybe gaim implement that protocol differently. I'll do more test when i'll see a gaim contact online
is this bug still valid ?
Gaim do something a bit different than the official MSN. (Kopete also does)
