Description Robin Rosenberg 2004-11-27 11:43:59 UTC
Version: 1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux 10.1 3.4.1-4mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8.1-12mdk

If KMail looses connection to the IMAP server it fails to reestablish despite the network beeing available again. It just gives an error message that the conection cannot be established. That happens both when just selecting a mail in an imap folder directly or when explicitly telling kmail to check for new mail (Ctrl-L).

Sometimes selecting a non-imap-folder and then an imap folder again works, but usually not. Restarting kmail works.

Typically this happenned after suspend-resume.

This is the same as #77862, I think.
