Description MaxAuthority 2004-11-26 21:32:17 UTC
Version:           3.3 (using KDE 3.3.89 (CVS >= 20040820), Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3-r6, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-rc2

the khtml part of konqueror already uses vim-keys for navigation:
h: go left
j: go down
k: go up
l: go right

since this is so easy to navigate if you are used to vim/mutt/less/etc., I would sugest an (optional) configuration setting for vim users which does the following in list view mode:
j: go down
k: go up
h: go back
l: open item (like enter)

ok course this would break type-ahead-find a little in list view mode, therefore I also opt for making it optional. Or if another settings entry in konquerors settings is too much, at least 2 options in the 'configure shortcuts' dialog for selecting the next/previous file name would be great.
