Hi,

One of the difficulties that I face with email management is that I have to synchronize my emails between several computers. Ok, I have the option of leaving fetched messages in the server, but this is not perfect because I still don't have the filters, important messages, sent mail and sometimes the server doesn't support that.

So, what I really would like would the ability to set a remote location for ~/Mail and also for the filters (I don't know where this info is saved). With KIO maybe this shouldn't be much difficult...

What do you think?

Have you considered using IMAP?

Well, this is up to you. You can use IMAP (best solution) or put a symlink to ~/Mail in a nfs-share or something. Don't think kmail is responsible here.
