Description Ryan Saunders 2004-11-12 00:05:16 UTC
Version: 1.12 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Compiler:          gcc 3.4.1
OS:                Linux

I've been ripping stuff for several hours now, and all was going well until about an hour ago the "automatically look up CDDB entries" quit working. Now I have to click the lookup button manually.

Restarting the program fixed the problem. Could this be related to a failed rip earlier?

What an interesting problem. Have you seen it happen again? Were you ripping any odd cd's or doing anything abnormal?
Comment 2 Ryan Saunders 2004-12-20 07:04:49 UTC
Hmmm...nothing especially odd. Some CDs weren't in the CDDB, or I had to correct some entries manually. Perhaps that did something to override the auto-lookup? I also had to cancel some rips that were taking forever to complete.

I ran into this bug a couple of times. When I submitted it, I was in the process of ripping my entire CD collection, so I went thru a lot of CDs during one session using the program. The bug didn't seem to show up until after I'd done a lot of CDs. I don't really have an occasion to see if this bug still exists, because I've now finished ripping the whole collection.

Did you also have automatic ripping enabled (attempting to reproduce)
Comment 4 Ryan Saunders 2005-04-09 22:59:38 UTC
Yes. Other options I had enabled:
  * ogg encoding
  * eject on finish
