Description Cláudio F. Gil 2004-11-04 19:33:25 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.3.1, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-2)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9

I'm using dIMAP and when it looses to the connection to the server it shows a enormous error dialog. I've read it once and now just press ok every time. Kmail works anyway so why is that dialog always shown? It has some usefull information but it really is anoying if the connection is lost many times (and in my case that happens). As I said KMail looses the connection but keeps working fine: when needed it creates a new connection and does everythin fine.

IMO that dialog should not be shown or shown when explicitly indicated.

Could you please check if this problem occurs just in Kontact or also in a standalone version of KMail? If the latter is the case, the bug should be moved to the product KMail.
