Description David 2004-11-04 02:34:02 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

I like to be able to place multile windows inside one window decoration (I have only seen this feature in Fluxbox, where you are able to drag the title of one window onto another and then both windows are contained in the same border, using the title space as a sort of taskbar for those windows).

I find this really useful in Fluxbox as I am able to group my windows even if they are not of the same type, like when I need to switch back and forth between Emacs and Kate (Kate because I hate Emacs, and Emacs because Kate wasn't handling tabs well...but this is just a simple example)

I should add that the tab system on the fluxbox site (http://fluxbox.sourceforge.net/features/tabs.php) is different from the one I have seen in the most recent Fluxbox version, but is functionaly the same, and I would be very happy with either implementation :). The only drawback of the tab system is that it takes up slightly more space on the screen.
