Original title: "Bug 92648: Kontact crashes after doing the following: 1. run anti-spam wizard to set up spam filtering. It finds SpamAssassin. Choose SpamAssassin to automatically mark messages as spam. Also choose the option to mark them manually, and move messages to a "junk" folder. 2. Quit kontact, and start it again. 3. Default start-up application visible is kmail (as usual), but when I click ANY of the other application button, kontact crashes. This happens every time. Obtained the same behaviour with KDE 3.2. "

Comment 3 Kevin Farrell 2004-11-08 12:21:45 UTC
Hi Melchior,

I see that my bug report is a duplicate of a previously reported bug. However,
my searches didn't find that earlier bug, probably because the subject line
for that earlier bug has the word "Kontact" spelt incorrectly??? Would it be
possible to fix the subject line of that (earlier) bug so that other people
will find it, and therefore not post duplicate bug-reports? The subject line
reads:

"Bug 90518: Knotact crashes when switching from Mail to other modules
(crash) "

See that Kontact is actually spelt as "Knotact"!!!

Best regards,

Kevin.

Comment 4 Ronan Oger 2006-09-23 14:52:20 UTC
I would like to re-open this bug report...? on SuSE10.1 / akgregator 1.22 / kontact 1.2 (all out of the box), I get a consistent crashing when switching from Mail to Feeds using the taskbar. I do not get crashing when switching to the other options.

Backtrace:

Ronan, it looks like your crash is different to the one originally reported in this report. Please open a new report in the product 'akregator' with that backtrace and a description of how to reproduce the crash. Thanks.
