Version:           0.6.9.20040927-2 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

During start of digikam the application crahes with error window (SIGSEGV) . This malfunction apperars after updating to SUSE 9.2 with normal user account. 
System behaves normal with root authentification. The KDE crashmanager reports:

This problem is not reproducible since 5.0.0 as all digiKam KIO slave was
replaced by a multithreaded interface to play with database
