Sometimes, I would like to forward only certain parts of a received e-mail.

When clicking on the "forward" button, I wish KMail would recognize my selection of text and only forward this part of the message, not the entire message.

This functionality would be similar to the already existing one within the "reply" functionality.

Good idea, though I think KMail should ask whether only the selection or the whole message should be forwarded.

I dont see the need to ask anything.
If a user selected something thats whats get sent.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
