Description Tomasz Jarzynka 2004-10-30 13:04:15 UTC

Hi,

"display threads with own articles" is a nice feature, but sometimes
becomes hard to use nevertheless. It would be nice to have a feature
called something like "Display threads with unread replies to my articles".
When selected, KNode would display only those threads(and, possibly, chop then to subthreads with my reply as root message) that have unread
replies to *my* article. When a discussion reaches 200 posts it is really
difficult to browse through looking for my name, just to find out the
discussion is taking place in another part of the thread.

Another possible solution for this would be to highlight my articles with
a color, so that I could easily scroll through and find whether someone
replied to me, or someone else in the thread. I can set a rule to highlight
replies to my own articles, but you know how much effort it takes and a newbie would never do that.

PS. Is it me or KNode still has not killfile? :(

Ok, that's all for now, thanks;)

PS.

Similar to #138910 and #56510, maybe even more.
We should get the votes together in just one (the oldest) to get a chance for a change.

Equals to #123808 and #125663 too

Please move your votes from this one th #56510, as it is much older and basically the same

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
