Description Florian Ehrenthal 2004-10-25 12:56:47 UTC
Version: 1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-gentoo-r1

i have an imap account configured in kmail.
additionally i created some virtual search folders.
now i noticed that messages i delete from within the virtual search folder get moved to my local trash instead of the configured trash dir for my imap account which is somehow unexpected. At least i would expect them to get moved to my imaps-trash dir :)

thanks for kmail, i love it!

there seems to be only one trash in kmail 1.10.1 (or I am unable to create other trash folder).

I've reproduced the bug as the reporter says after assigning the dimap trash folder to a folder in the dimap account, creating a search for something in the spam folder and deleting it, it goes to the local folder, not the dimap folder.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
