Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs If setting up meetings it is vital to know what time will be needed to travel between the location the different attendees are located in the time previous to the meeting. This leads to the requirement to know where the user is usually located and how he usually travels between the frequent used locations * allow setting for each day (recurring), where you are * select frequently used predefined-locations through kicker applet (as with languages and personal reachability status) * get location information from cellphone through bluetooth to users tablet or notebook * show not only busy times, but also approximated travel durations for all invited users in the schedulling overview * plugin to integrate travel information (e.g. from Companies with services for train, Rent-a-car, Car-sharing, auto-routing, Hotel) calculate and show arrival and departure * usual duration to "travel" from one spot to the meeting location for a fast guess (without checking timetables) * send suggested departure and arrival times, routing information, maps in invitation * duration, change of location, map, route in calendar of attendees after accepting invitation. * offering a choice of travel arrangements and price information (through the upper mentioned plugins) * add settings for pauses between meetings for schedules of ressources 1.5h/15min pause/1.5h/1h lunch/... (needed for for in/out people transfer from rooms) Kde Base * offer a worldmap to visualize location information on different levels of details (as e.g. MapQuest) by embedding WebServices * offer a location widget that can be used in the side-panes * offer widgets for location data entry with the different location formats for longtitude, latitude, hight (dezimal, minutes/seconds, feet, m, location names as cities, peaks, lakes, buildings, other) * offer all this in a lib for locations that is used in kde also for kstars, kweather, ...
