Description Peter Reinhart 2004-10-22 10:29:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Sometimes, I open an e-mail, attach a text file to it and then make some changes to the very file. It would be great to have a new item in the "right click menu" of an attachment to "Re-read [the] attachment".
Comment 1 Andreas Gungl 2005-05-27 22:48:02 UTC
You can remove it and add it, but you're right if you tell us that it's all but comfortable. But how often does that problem happen to you (or the so-called average user)?
Comment 2 Peter Reinhart 2005-05-30 09:56:38 UTC
This problem occurs about once a week on my system.
Would it be difficult to implement this little menu item?
Or is this suggested feature not worth the additional code?

Why not having a FileWatcher on the attachment? The attachment is automatically reloaded when it changes.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.
Comment 7 Luigi Toscano 2012-08-19 00:48:03 UTC
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
