Compiler:          gcc 3.4.2

When trying to resize the image in the editor, it seems that some
kind of rounding error (by keeping aspect ratio) keeps the 
program just hanging there, the values for both width and height
keep going up and down, and pressing esc or cancel doesn't help.

this was fixed a few days before 0.7-beta1 was released. where are you getting the binary packages from. it helps us a great deal if you specify a) the version b) source of the package.
