Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2) Installed from: RedHat RPMs OS: Linux I would suggest implementing an additional message list. This should look and act similar to the card preview in kaddressbook. This kind of preview could be used as a substitute for the table list that is implemented in the current versions. A message list would solve http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81272. In addition one could have a message preview like the 'show first 3 lines' in Outlook. The configuration (which fields in what kind of order) could be comparable to kaddressbook. In addition one should be able to determine where to set linebreaks so more than one field in a line is possible. This is different to kaddressbook where only one item per row is possible. The header should display all items from the first line. The card view would allow narrow entries. Because of this one should be able to determine whether the items are aligned in columns or rows. In a multicolumn display the header should appear only in the first column.
Hmm... I consider this fixed or invalid with the new ui since KDE 4.2. Please complain if I'm wrong.
