Description Giovanni Venturi 2004-10-13 21:32:44 UTC
Version: 2.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8.1

When I log into KDE, kmix fixes the volume level after or during KDE playing its startup sound. I think it should be fixed before starting play startup sounds. Because I hate the ugly fade effect of the sound: the volume becomes upper or lower during the startup sounds playing.

Fixing this problem is targeted for KDE4.

Feature didn't get ready. Fixing is not done for KDE4.0, but is postponed to later version.

I simply don't get into working on this. I am really wondering whether this is still relevant, especially with all the KDE4 changes.

If I don't hear anything until end of August 2009, I'll close this bug report.

Problem seems to be no longer present.
