Description mail 2004-10-06 17:31:44 UTC
Version: 3.3 (using KDE 3.3.0, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 (Debian 1:3.3.4-12)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.26

In Konsole the shortcut is SHIFT+LEFT and SHIFT+RIGHT, in Konqueror it is SHIFT+, and SHIFT+.
For me Konsole's defaults make sense and I don't know why Konqueror does not use the same keys. Please change this for more consistency in KDE.

And how do you select text in text boxes with the keyboard after that change?

Have a nice day!

How do you do it in Konsole?
I made the switch here, it already works with SHIFT+LEFT/RIGHT. So to switch tabs one only needs to leave the text box (with the tab key), then switching tabs works fine again. Sounds and feels reasonable to me.
