duls bounced the orignal - duls from my POV is a PITA. ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: Canadian Bilingual Keyaboard mapping fails Date: Fri 26 Jan 2001 07:51:59 -0500 From: Ed Tomlinson <tomlins@cam.org> To: Hi This is still occuring with beta2... I have been fixing it by inserting an xmodmap into the startkde script after the ksplash stuff. Think there should be an option to tell kde not to play with the keyboard at all. This way if kde cannot handle your keyboard and X can you can have an xmodmap run before kdestart and everyone will be happy. Ed Tomlinson -------------------------------------------------------
