Description g111 2004-09-29 14:16:25 UTC
Version: 3.3 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When viewing the frame/page information, a very long URL is shortened in the middle by inserting "...". This means that it sometimes is hard to recognize which cgi-script has been envoked: http://myserver/cgi-bin/...ent=3&bla=2

For a web developer IMHO it is important to see the complete URL (script-name and all parameters).

Thank you,

Gert

This would lead sometimes to windows being bigger than your screen.
Comment 2 g111 2004-10-02 21:28:02 UTC
It requires an area that is scrollable to avoid the to large window.
Comment 3 Tommi Tervo 2005-10-13 09:24:01 UTC
Document information screen could wrap long URL.
Comment 4 g111 2015-10-24 18:13:10 UTC
Well, I think this report can be closed because konqueror does not offer the functionality anymore to view the page information. At least I cannot find it anymore!?

Menu > View > View Document Information (Ctrl+I).

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
