Description Timur 2004-09-28 15:26:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

It would be beneficial to implement a closer integration between Kmail and KAlarm. In my mind the following are the main features that should be implemented on Kmail side:

- it will be usefull to schedule an e-mail from Kmail when composing a message. Kmail should automatically invoke methods in kalarm that actually does the the scheduling
- it will be usefull to be able to select a draft message and schedule its possible delivery time. Again Kmail should automatically invoke methods in Kalarm so that it can actually do the scheduling.

I don't see those features as technicall complex, but they will provide a better user experience.

I'd like to spend also few lines to thank you guys for the great work that you are doing in delivering us such a nice and feature rich e-mail environment as Kmail is.

regards,
Timur

I would also like to see this feature integrated

You can compose emails in KAlarm and schedule them from there. That may be less integrated than doing it from KMail, but at least it's possible already.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
