Version:           1.6.2 (using KDE 3.2.3,  (testing/unstable))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian 20040422)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-1-686

Sometimes kmail takes a long time to render emails.  This is especially the case when the emails are signed or encrypted and it needs to call gpg.  On my system, this can take several seconds.  Kmail should change the mouse cursor to the "busy" shape while this happens.  It would also be nice if it indicated that the previously displayed email is not current any more by e.g. greying it out.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
