OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-1-686-smp

The sound is very bad when I use arts with nas output.
With audiooss, I've no problems.

I confirm this on Ubuntu Edgy (6.10) Stable release on both machines (cleint and server). No matter whatever settings I tried to change in nasd.conf on target PC.

Arts is no longer developed and has been unmaintained for quite some time - more than 2 years. With phonon as the replacement for arts in KDE4, we're closing out all the arts bugs in Bugzilla since there is no chance of them being fixed.
