Version: 0.6.2 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux I would be very nice to have a simple script or something like this to generate html galeries in a user prefered way. Something like skins. It should not be too complicated. First step could be separate the html code from the css style sheet. User might overwrite it by it's own style sheet. Not so general wishes: * image descriptions on the overview page * non-modified copies of images for full image view * tuneable height x width for full-sized images in the image view * integration with the CD backup plugin? Thanks. Ruda M.
Have you check cdigi tool? Looks like it does most what you want. http://skawina.eu.org/mikolaj/README.html http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=15103
Yes, maybe the GUI plugin should use CDigi.
Yeah, it looks interresting. I'll try it!

Recently I deserted to a program called AlbumShaper. It is using XML format to store collections of photos. The output plugins can be then written XSLT language allowing simply generate requested output format. The AlbumShaper is not complete and it is missing features related to the thumbnail sizes, slideshow image sizes etc, but the output generation is simple and very effective. I was able to create my own plugin in one hour. More info about AlbumShaper can be found here: http://albumshaper.sourceforge.net/ Documentation section contains details related to the output themes.
This bug is reported against 'imagesgallery'. This plugin has been replaced by a new plugin called 'HTMLExport', which is written completely from scratch. This bug report will now be closed.
This problem is not reproducible with current HTML Gallery tool implemented in digiKam core. Gilles Caulier
