Version:           3.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
Compiler:          gcc 3.3.2 MDK 10 3.3.2-6mdk 
OS:                Linux

KDevelop almost always crashes when opening or reopening a project. There is no rule when in happenes. 
I figure it out that when I remove file project_name.pcs from project dir it always starts without crash. 
When file exist it can load without errors, but next time (without any changes - just close and open project) can cause crash.

Try disabling the FileSelector plugin. For many this seems to help.
