Description Helge Hielscher 2004-09-02 04:09:46 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs

Problem: Some mailboxes have a limit for the size of an individual message. If you want to send a larger file you have to compress and split the file yourself into multiple small emails.

Solution: if the attachment is larger than a specified limit kmail asks if it should compress and/or split the attached files (e.g. using ark)

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
