Version: 1.7 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux Would it be possible to add a key accelerator option to change the email header view to: elegant, short, default, long, extended, all (these are translated into English). The real options can be obtained by: launch kmail -> view -> email headers I use this menu quite often, to change the view from elegant to default to be able to nicely cut and paste the email including header into bugzilla's and other systems like that. The elegant view does not cut and paste very nice. It would be sufficient to have a key accelerator to swap between elegant and default (for me).
What about using "V" and copying the data out of the mail source view? Do you think this would fullfill your wish?
Just tried it => no it would not fullfill my wish. In my proposal one could e.g. just use <ctrl><a> <ctrl><c> or just copy and paste with the mouse and have the email copied in the right format. Using V is too messy.
