Description Inge Wallin 2004-08-23 23:21:06 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)

In the middle game it is often the case that I want to send ships from several planets to the same destination many turns after each other. It would be nice to be able to define a standing order that is valid until I say otherwise. As it is now, I have to reissue the order for every turn.

It would also be nice to be able to see which orders where issued this turn, and to be able to cancel orders before ending the turn.

The last paragraph in the original wish could be implemented separately. I will make a separate bug for it.

patch that introduces standing orders

This patch adds a checkbox next to the shipcount lineedit to make an order a standing one, one that is issued every turn (if ships are available)

I have an svn account myself, just want to know if the maintainer agrees with my solution. Review board did not like my patch.
