Description Wilbert Berendsen 2004-08-18 17:09:52 UTC
Version: 0.7.0-cvs (using KDE 3.3.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-gentoo

When I select photos by drawing a box (starting on the background of the itemview), I can only add photo's to the selection. When I move a row too far and move back, the photo's are not deselected again. This makes it difficult to make bigger selections: as soon as scrolling begins, one almost always selects too much photos.

Expected behaviour would be to deselect the photos that were not selected at the moment the drawn box added them when the box leaves them again in the same mouvement.

I think this bug came in short time ago.

fixed in cvs. thanks

It's not fixed totally :-)

Try adding photos to the selection by drawing boxes with Ctrl pressed. This now deselects some or all photos. Expected would be that starting a box-draw with Ctrl pressed down adds the new selection to the current selection (i.e. does not interfere with photos that _were_ already selected :-)
